Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
Applies knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle
Applies knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
Applies knowledge to create a wide variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
Applies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
Provides analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
Provides guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

HOW A DATABASE ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation
Understand the process and data interface flow and perform impact analysis
Experience in fast-paced production environment and ability to handle multiple problems at the same time with changing priorities; ability to pivot as needed
Works with Team Members and Government Staff
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and organizational skills WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree + relevant experience
Required Technical Skills: SQL preferably Oracle SQL*Plus, Oracle DBA Security Clearance Level: SECRET
Required Skills and Abilities: Support of application and interface jobs using a scheduling software
Location: On Customer Site, New Orleans, LA
