Overview:
LMI is seeking a Senior Data Architect to perform information technology related requirements as part of an integrated team supporting for the Department of Defense, United States Transportation Command. The position requires proficiency in physical data modeling and any major BI Visualization tool. Work will be performed at Scott AFB, IL and in the vicinity of OFallon, IL.

Responsibilities:
Designs and builds relational databases. Performs data access analysis design, and archive/recovery design and implementation
Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database
Works in a data warehouse environment, which includes data design, database architecture, and metadata repository creation
Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions
Defines, designs, and builds dimensional databases
Develops data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems
Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access

Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Social Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical disciplines or equivalent years of experience
3-5 years experience building automated ETL data-pipelines, using:Python,Pandas, Dataframes, or Pyspark.
3-5 years of SQL experience including: Data Definition Language (DDL) and/or Data Manipulation Language (DML).
3-5 years of MS Excel experience
3-5 years of experience deriving business use case requirements
3-5 years of Business Intelligence and Visualization experience using tools such as: Qlik, Tableau, or PowerBI.
3-5 years working in an Agile/Scrum environment
3-5 years using MS Teams / SharePoint
Experience building physical data models/database design, preferred
Experience working with DoD preferred, but not necessary
Must possess an active SECRET US Government clearance
