Full job description Summary: The Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor supports Account Management, Account Executive and Clinical Account Executive functions and client output deliverables through tactical execution that ensures the availability, accuracy, and usability of data. The Data Measurement & Reporting Advisor works closely with process owners, account team representatives, and internal partners to fulfill both ad-hoc and scheduled deliverables including general reporting as well as advanced analytical guidance. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to communicate the results to project stakeholders. This role is a key team member responsible for consistent, timely, and accurate output of data.
Key Responsibilities: Compile and construct data and data models
Maintain and raise overall data quality and performance levels
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner
Coordinate with other teams within the organization to understand stakeholder & business priorities
Implement and create data governance procedures to improve data integrity and transparency
Find and proactively improve reporting processes and procedures where identified
Manage and oversee existing company data operation initiatives
Evaluate and identify where system and process enhancements are needed
Understand output of reports
Provide consultative input to ensure stakeholders can clearly communicate results of reports to the client
Develop new tools and processes as needed for client and account team support
Ideal Candidates Will Have a Combination of the Following: Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in health care/managed care field with direct responsibility for data analysis and management, relational databases, and reporting.
Bachelor's Degree in related field strongly preferred.
Strong preference for candidates with a background in claims reporting, deep-dive analysis and benefits utilization analysis.
Intermediate level expertise in the use of relational database concepts with the ability to write programs/code to perform queries on data and retrieve data from multiple tables/sources via SAS or SQL is required.
Ability to use Alteryx, Tableau, Python or other data mining and manipulation tools a plus.
Proficient using Microsoft Office suite of tools, specifically Excel and Access a must.
Proven experience in understanding and translating business needs into usable reports for use internally and client facing.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to present technical information to a varied audience and lead meetings when necessary.
Strong data mining skills including the ability to perform research and conduct root cause analysis.
Self-motivated, initiative taking individual possessing the ability to access and prioritize work.
