Headquartered in San Diego, California, with additional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company employs over 8,000 people worldwide.Meet the team:As a Cybersecurity Software Test Development Engineer, you will find ways to automate cybersecurity manual processes, minimize manual cybersecurity testing, maximize test infrastructure usage, and speed up the test validation process. You will build software tools like dashboards, data parsers, Automated UI flows, data analysis tools etc. to drive test execution on remote infrastructure that would run 24/7 globally. You will utilize ethical hacking tools and methodologies in your automation to ensure patient safety and the protection of intellectual property. You will work with other senior engineers to build tools to enable auto update of documents, push of data to the cloud, execute tests, website/portal updates etc. You will be an instrumental part of the team that brings life changing products to market.Where you come in:You will work with senior engineers to architect and built solutions for automating Web, API, and Mobile App testing, on real devices and emulation environments.You will design cybersecurity automated testing approaches that utilize ethical hacking tools to exercise application and platform protections.You will build tools for configuring/controlling Dexcom devices and Apps, parsing logs and analyzing failures.You will work with the QA and Dev teams to maximize Automated testing in each sprint and track automation tasks as part of Sprint delivery.You will develop tools and APIs to auto-update web pages, send notifications, generate documentation, generate/process events, automate Jira workflows etc.You will identify key scaling opportunities, automate Dexcom Apps testing and validation across several Android and iOS platforms.You will evangelize available automation platforms, drive towards low-code/no-code automation development.You will build integrations between tools like Jira, Testrail, Slack, Github, Datadog etc. to automate workflows and data transfers between systems.You will work with the team on identifying improvement areas and generate/tracking ROI metrics from automation.You will build cool stuff, learn and grow!What makes you successful:You must have strong hands-on experience in Python, Java, or C++You have experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Junit, Karate, Robot framework, NGTest, postman, etc.You have hands-on experience developing applications and libs in Python, using/building RestAPIs,You have experience working with tools like Jira, Testrail, GitHub, databases, AWS/GCP services, etc.You have experience in working with automated test suites that can be used by other teams in CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo etc.) and QA for end-to-end system testing.You have experience using/working with cloud solutions (AWS or GCP) for compute, storage, authentication etc.You have experience manipulating and analyzing data in various formats like JSON, XML, Text, CSV, Excel etc.Travel Required:15-25%Experience and Education Requirements:Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.Please note: The information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
