Position Overview
We're in search of a dedicated Customer Support Specialist who shares our passion for technology and service excellence. In this role, you'll be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cutting-edge internet, video, and voice services. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on work with our network's infrastructure, ensuring our customers enjoy uninterrupted connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and maintenance of high-speed internet, video, and voice services, including all related equipment.
Repair and upkeep of external plant facilities within your assigned area.
Performing a variety of tasks that may include climbing poles, digging to lay cable, working in confined spaces, and locating underground wiring.
Adhering to strict safety guidelines to ensure your well-being and that of your team.
Collaborating with fellow technicians and supporting sales and marketing efforts as needed.
Who We're Looking For
A high school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
Excellent color vision for accurate cable handling.
Physically able to manage equipment, including ladders and utility covers.
Willingness to undergo comprehensive training in various technical areas.
Proficiency in basic computer operations and Microsoft Office Suite.
Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
Available for varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
A team player who values professionalism and has a positive outlook.
Exceptional listening and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in continuous learning.
Additional Qualifications
Experience in telecom operations, basic electricity, or ADSL installation is highly valued. Certifications in A+/Net+ are advantageous.
