The Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing helps ensure Ohioans' investment in their largest asset – their homes – is a sound one. This includes licensing, education, and enforcement of Ohio laws for real estate brokers, salespersons, real estate appraisers, appraisal management companies, home inspectors, manufactured home brokers, dealers and salespersons and foreign real estate dealers and salespersons. The division also administers the Ohio registered cemetery and landmen programs, and real estate developments located outside of Ohio that are marketed to Ohioans. REPL also houses the Video Service Authorization program which provides complaint services, education and outreach to cable consumers, local governments, and cable providers.
