Job Description:

Consolidated Edison is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Care Assistant to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Customer Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our valued customers. This position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:1. Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.2. Assist customers with account inquiries, billing questions, and service requests.3. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.4. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for resolution.5. Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in the database.6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.7. Conduct research and follow up on customer inquiries to provide thorough and accurate responses.8. Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and procedures.

Requirements:1. Hardworking and resilient attitude with a strong work ethic.2. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.3. Ability to research and problem-solve effectively.4. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field.5. High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
