Responsibilities
• Start the credentialing process as soon as the specialist is notified of the staff's start date.• Ensure external credentialing of all independently licensed staff.• Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet search applications.• Pay attention to detail and work autonomously.• Navigate complex health plan systems.• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.• Obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.• Receive the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine within 2 weeks of hire date, and the second dose within 8 weeks of hire date.
Requirements
• HS Diploma or GED.• 1-2 years of Credentialing experience required.• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet search applications.• Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.• Ability to navigate complex health plan systems.• Must have reliable transportation, possess a valid driver's license, and have proof of auto insurance.• Must have or able to obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.• Must receive the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine within 2 weeks of hire date, and the second dose within 8 weeks of hire date.
