COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR Location: 693 W. 1250 S. St., Spanish Fork, UT 84660
Status: Part - Time / Non - Exempt
Hours: Part time mornings, and some evenings every other Saturday
Pay / Salary: $23.00 / Hour
BENEFITS: Part-time employee averaging 15 hours / week over 3+ months of employment could be eligible for our MTECH tuition waiver.
RESPONSIBILITIES Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
Teaching engaging lessons, using hands-on, skill-based competency training to the greatest extent possible. Managing and supervising students in the classroom and on the practical floor. Evaluating instruction/learning by means of written, oral practical and performance tests. Maintaining student-oriented approach, and desirable classroom conditions. Check equipment daily for hazards, ensuring it is maintained and properly repaired. Maintaining accurate and current reports and records regarding student accountability, attendance, and performance. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent is required Graduation from an accredited Cosmetology School or apprenticeship Valid Utah State Cosmetology Instructor's License Minimum of three years industry experience is required Prior teaching experience is preferred W e appreciate and support our current staff and are equally excited about our new hires.
