O6 Environmental is hiring for a Corporate Controller in the St. Louis, MO area. As a member of the O6 Environmental team, this person will provide support to all divisions of the entire organization and lead a team of accounting and office staff. As the Corporate Controller, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial functions of an organization. Their duties include financial planning, managing financial processes and handling budgets. Now is your chance to be part of a dynamic, growing organization.
Duties/Responsibilities/ Qualifications Financial Leadership: Manage all daily functions of the accounting and finance functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Oversee an accounting and office staff of approximately six people to ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Collaborate with executive leadership to drive financial strategy and growth initiatives Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements monthly Maintains monthly WIP schedule to facilitate accurate ASC 606 revenue recognition Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Prepare analyses and provide insight on company performance to support senior management Monitor budget performance and variance analysis Forecast financial results and create financial planning documents to assist in strategic execution Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements Manage and submit all federal, state, and local tax filings and licenses Manage internal and external audits Oversee and enforce internal financial and accounting controls Construction Industry Expertise:  Utilize Percentage of Completion accounting and ASC 606 to accurately report financial results Work closely with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to report and optimize financial performance Required Skills/Abilities Construction industry or Percentage of Completion accounting experience required Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
