Position Overview: The Sr. Controls Manufacturing Engineer (2nd Shift) is responsible for developing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and other control systems. This role is responsible for providing technical support to ensure that all automated equipment functions properly and achieves optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities: Design, install, and maintain PLC, HMI, and other control systems in accordance with manufacturing specifications. Write/modify programs for control systems to meet the needs of the manufacturing process. Monitor and troubleshoot control systems, identifying and resolving any problems as needed. Diagnose and repair functional issues with control systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely. Test and calibrate control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. Coordinate and collaborate with other departments and personnel to resolve technical issues. Create and maintain detailed documentation of control systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar field. At least 3 years of experience working with control systems. Experience with Siemens S7, PLC, Allen Bradley, HMI, Studio 5000, Siemens Nice-to-have skills such as Allen Bradley Control, Control Logix, IV2 sensors, SLC 500, Ladder Diagram, Functional Block Diagram, TP1500 Comfort, RXLogix 5000, Keyence IX, and HDMI Panels.
