Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance of control/networking systems• Advise on equipment and controls needs• Provide oversight of external controls vendors• Design, code, and debug programs• Develop HMI for plant operators• Drive standards for control system reliability• Adhere to SOPs for development and documentation• Manage controls cabinets and network communications• Work with IT for network security• Maintain spare parts and licenses• Communicate with plant management• Provide support on a 24x7 basis• Train local maintenance teams• Promote a safety first culture• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or related technical degree• Minimum of 3 years experience in controls engineering• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Logix programming• Experience with HMI development tools• In-depth knowledge of automation technologies and troubleshooting• Strong project management skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
