Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Controls Engineer to join our team. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of control solutions for our production process. The engineer will work with a variety of controls systems, motion controls, and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement advanced control systems and solutions for the automation of industrial processes. Design and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to meet customer specifications. Integrate hardware and software components into a system to control electromechanical and robotic devices. Write ladder logic programs for various control system applications. Evaluate and troubleshoot existing control systems and components. Develop efficient HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications for monitoring and controlling processes. Develop and maintain detailed schematics for all control systems. Provide technical assistance for all motion control and packaging automation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related field or 5+ years of engineering experience. Comprehensive understanding of motion controls, packaging, and industrial automation. Proficiency in programming PLCs using Ladder logic. Experience in developing HMI applications for control systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Allen Bradley ControlLogix and/or other control systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
