Controller/Sr Accountant

Were seeking an experienced Controller/Sr Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations, from accounting to budgeting. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires experience with Quickbooks and preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of construction experience.
Position Overview: The Controller/Sr Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations, from accounting to budgeting. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities: Manage accounting and financial reporting functions. Develop and maintain financial and accounting policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Create and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources. Provide financial reporting to management and other stakeholders. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Prepare year-end tax returns and coordinate audits. Assist with special projects related to finance and accounting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. At least five years of experience in a Controller/Sr Accountant role. Knowledge of Quickbooks Knowledge of construction experience (preferred). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
