ROI Construction is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Compensation: Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000Responsibilities:The role will primarily involve overseeing the organization's financial activities, including journal entries, month-end close, quarterly-end close, year-end close, and balance sheet account reconciliationsPrepare timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsRun payroll for employees and subcontractors weeklyEnsure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including payroll taxes, income tax, and other necessary reports/filings (e.g. 1099, 940, 941, W-2's, etc.)Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactionsAssist the CFO and the executive team in the annual budgeting and planning processEnsuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsEnsure accurate job costing and follow job close-out proceduresCollaborate with various departments (operations, sales, project management, inventory manager) to ensure seamless integration of financial data with operational activitiesPerform annual workers comp auditsHandle any ad hoc finance/accounting requests that come up in day to dayQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required5+ years of experience in accounting requiredExperienced with QBO (Accounting software) is requiredExperience with Acculynx (CRM) is a plusExperience with inventory management is a plusExperience in the construction or renewable energy industry is a plusStrong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and relevant compliance regulations is requiredProficiency in accounting software's and Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexityMust have a high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentialityAbout Company:ROI Construction is a second-generation roofing company providing customers with a Positive Return On Investment with their roof, siding, gutters, and solar needs.
