Construction Project Manager/Inspector

Construction Project Manager/Inspector - Remote but travel area will be mainley in MS, LA & TX  Overview:  Perform the following general professional services for the oversight of: construction and maintenance, project coordination, and project management services for overhead and underground installations of transmission, substation, and distribution facilities for SELECT Power Systems. The Work covers the construction and maintenance of fiber optic communications, overhead and underground electrical facilities and other miscellaneous construction activities as requested.
Duties: Ensure construction contractors place emphasis on achieving client SPOQ (Safety, Production, Operational Excellence, Quality Assurance) initiative and address any SPOQ related issues with the construction contractors. When such issues cannot be resolve, escalate to client's management as required.
Attend meetings held by the client to obtain information related to design and scope for the projects that requires construction oversight.
Work closely with and coordinate with designated client representative(s) and construction contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to client's specifications.
Provide regular feedback and updates to designated client representative(s) regarding work status and job performance of contract personnel.
Immediately notify client management of any incidents, including unplanned outages, damage to customer property, switching, etc. (safety, operational)

 
Deliverables: Project Report that may include, but not limited to:
Safety Observations – items doing well, items that need attention. Construction Progress & Productivity metrics per project and crew Quality Assurance observations and trends Best Practices and Lessons Learned that period of time covered by report. Close out project report that may include, but not limited to:
Safety Observations and Trends Quality Assurance observations and trends Best Practices and Lessons Learned As built report and final walkdown Daily logs for Production As built reports Construction & Productivity metrics and trends SELECT Power Systems offers a competitive compensation package in addition to the following benefits:
