As a Construction Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our infrastructure, ensuring the success of various construction and improvement projects from conception to completion.
What You'll Do:
Identify & Initiate: Scout for projects that can significantly benefit from our expertise. Evaluate their feasibility, site specifics, and overall impact.
Collaborate & Oversee: Work hand-in-hand with project teams, including Project Managers and Operations Supervisors, to set targets and kickstart potential projects. Your keen oversight on construction ensures adherence to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Plan & Estimate: Prepare comprehensive job packages and estimates. Conduct thorough site walks and discussions with potential contractors to align on vision and requirements.
Communicate & Coordinate: Be the linchpin between contractors, governing agencies, and internal teams. Your communication skills will ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules and regulatory guidelines.
Mentor & Lead: Share your knowledge and expertise, providing mentorship to team members at various stages of their careers. Your leadership will foster growth and excellence within the team.
What Makes You a Perfect Fit:
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
At least 7 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering or construction, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.
Desired Qualifications:
Over 9 years of experience in civil engineering or construction, especially within the realm of government agency paving and concrete projects.
Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Unifier, and Microsoft Office Suite.
A deep understanding of cost accounting and contract administration, coupled with the ability to manage costs and schedules effectively.
Familiarity with unit price contracts and a track record of managing projects to successful completion.

Bay Area: $126,000 - $200,000
California: $120,000 - $190,000
