TheCrew Foreman is the leader in constructing quality post frame building projects that are of the highest quality profitable and delight our customers. This position is regarded is the most important function in our business.Our foreman are required to be hands on ... they are the first to put their tool belts on and the last to take them off ... they set the productivity pace on the job site.
Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direct a crew of 34 in all aspects of the building construction process Ability to organize job tasks for crew members to efficiently complete the job Provide the construction expertise organizational andcommunication skills necessary to complete quality building projects profitably Complete projects on time and within budget Assist in the technical training and retraining of crew members including new hires to ensure they are fully trained and follow all safety andconstruction procedures Provide recommendations for advancement and wage adjustments for employees Demonstrate and hold the standards of Sherman Pole Buildings safety procedures as well as the efficient constructionmethods and quality standards of every building Readunderstand and build according to construction plans Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience in leading construction projects is required Carpentry framing postframe construction or equivalent experience is preferred Applicant must hold a Class A CDL license or be able to obtain one within 6 months of being hired with our assistance in acquiring it Willingness to obtain OSHA 10hour Equipment Operation and Competent Person Certifications once hired Capable of working in a physically demanding environment and at various heights (such as 40 feet) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
