Construction Contracts Administrator

Supports and assists management and program management with various aspects of contract management, development along with contract administration with professional service contractors and equipment and material suppliers.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field
*Working experience using and interpreting Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
*Advance knowledge of computer software, i.e., Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word documents
* Knowledge of US Government, USCG and ABS forms for submittals during a project
* Good communication skills, including written and oral communication
Working within the Shipbuilding and/or steel manufacturing industry is desired
Essential Functions/Duties:
* Supports PM group in negotiating various elements of contracts with suppliers and vendors
* Assist Legal and PM departments in reviewing proposals, compliance requirements and regulations, etc.
