n JOB SUMMARY
n The Comfort Advisor is responsible for generating leads, evaluating the HVAC needs of residential customers, following the SGI Sales Model and creating and presenting options. This role is commission based ranging from 60k - 100k and requires good communication skills and HVAC knowledge.
n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
n The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
n n Meeting the client's needs and wants while meeting the minimum budgeted sales as determined by management's plan. The company depends highly on the Comfort Advisor's ability to convert prospects into satisfied owners of new air conditioning and heating systems. n Leads are valuable assets of the company and should be treated as such: n n Maintain a closing ratio on technician-generated leads of 75% or higher. n Maintain a closing ratio on marketed leads of 30% or higher. n Maintain an average sale price of $9,500 or higher. n n n Be available within 15 minutes by phone at all times, other than scheduled vacations or holidays. n Arrive at appointments 5 - 10 minutes ahead of time. n Only present the price for a system when all the decision-makers are present. n Use the Home Comfort Guide. n If both decision makers are not present, perform a partial survey and reset the appointment time when all decision makers are available. n Perform a complete Comfort Survey and Home Analysis on every call. n Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. The Comfort Advisor is responsible for financing paperwork as well as ensuring collection of cash payments. Commission is not paid until the company is paid for the job or the client has signed a financing completion form. n Spend at least two hours each week reading or listening to self-improvement or sales-related books, video, or audio. n Conduct daily activities with the highest level of honesty and integrity, and always display a positive attitude toward fellow team members. Understand that any misrepresentation to a client or the Sales and Marketing Manager is grounds for immediate dismissal. n Follow up on all past open estimates within 24 hours. n Arrive on time for sales training meetings conducted by the Sales and Marketing Manager. n The Commission sheet is approved by the Sales Manager before commission is paid. n Obey company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules. n n MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
n n Valid Driver's License n 2+ years of sales experience n Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite n Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills n Thorough understanding of accounting and finance as it relates to the HVAC field n HVAC industry specific experience preferred, but not required n Conduct daily activities with the highest level of honesty and integrity, and always display a positive attitude toward fellow team members. Understand that any misrepresentation to a client or the Sales and Marketing Manager is grounds for immediate dismissal. n n PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
n Physical Demands:
n n Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment n Heavy lifting required (50-75) pounds, ladder work and tight space work required from time to time n Heavy lifting (50 lbs), twisting, bending, use of both hands and arms, kneeling, squatting, standing and/or walking for long periods, climbing of ladders and/or scaffolding. n Wear personal protective equipment n Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day n n
