This well-established organization is currently seeking a CNC Machinist III who will be r esponsible for complex production and programming responsibilities and handles a variety of tasks including leading the work of others.

Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary. Operates manual machines as required. Uses standard inspection tools (ring, plug, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparator). Write programs as required. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Designs, fabricates and verifies new tooling and fixturing. Runs prototypes. Participates in lean events, design reviews, cost reductions, cycle time savings, training. Directs and leads the work of others. Understands and follows established quality and safety standards. High school diploma or its equivalent and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under minimal supervision. A high degree of creativity and latitude is required. Proven programming skills.
