All 2nd shift gets a 6.65% premium added onto their base pay. CNC Operator Job Overview: You would perform set up, operation, and programming of complex machined components for many different industries.
You'll be a great fit if: You are able to perform setups, edit and prove out programs You can operate CNC machine tools You can perform progressive machining operations to specs You are able to participate in and contribute to continuous improvement culture including lean initiatives You are able to maintain required quality and cleanliness standards You have a basic understanding of applicable machining techniques and understanding of control functions You are able to do repetitive machining work You can operate machine tools from written set up instructions and make offset adjustments to optimize part conformance to print (preferred skill) You have the ability to read blueprints at a basic level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation (preferred skill) You can run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell You enjoy mentoring or training operators on certain repetitive jobs You can perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: A Highschool diploma/CNC technical diploma preferred 6 months to 2 years of machining experience Proficiency in required measuring equipment for respective work performed Solid math skills A strong knowledge of blueprint reading including GD&T A clear understanding of feed and speed characteristics of specific types of metals and cutting tools A willingness to learn and grow Benefits :
