We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our vibrant healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care through meticulous review and co-signing of treatment plans, clinical notes, and other vital documentation crafted by our associate therapists/registered interns.
At our company, our team enjoys the flexibility of working 100% remotely from the comfort of their own homes!
This part-time W2 hourly position offers a Monday - Friday schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements. Additionally, all necessary equipment will be provided.
Qualifications:
Must possess an active license in Florida, Ohio, Georgia, New Mexico, Arizona, or Illinois. Don't have one of these licenses yet? No problem! We're open to discussing reimbursement for associated licensure fees for new hires.
Hold a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
Licensed in a clinical discipline (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT).
Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to become licensed in additional states served by our organization.
Proficient in technology with a knack for quickly adapting to new systems.
Previous experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a background in behavioral health or therapy documentation is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Documentation Review:
Conduct thorough reviews of treatment plans, progress notes, and other submitted documentation from associate therapists.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Compliance Assurance:
Monitor and uphold compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards in the healthcare industry.
Stay informed about industry changes and effectively communicate updates affecting documentation requirements to the team.
Quality Control:
Perform regular audits to assess documentation quality and identify areas for improvement.
Provide constructive feedback to associate therapists to enhance the quality of their documentation.
Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the leadership team, clinical supervisors, and management to address documentation quality and compliance issues.
Effectively communicate with providers for documentation coaching and revision purposes.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and continuous improvement.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of documentation reviews, feedback provided, and corrective actions taken.
Generate reports on the overall quality of documentation.
