Requirements: Must be a high school graduate or equivalentCan type at least 40-50 words per minuteExcellent oral communication skillsAbility to use a variety of office machines and office software programsWillingness to obtain clerical skills and basic computer knowledge with hospice computer systemsAt least one year experience in the healthcare field preferredExperience in hospice setting and Home Care Home Base software preferredKnowledge of medical terminology preferredJob Duties: Add new material to file records, and create new records as necessaryFind and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users.Keep records of materials filed or removed, using logbooks or computers.Modify and improve filing systems or implement new filing systems.Perform periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement, legibility, and proper condition.File a variety of materials as needed in appropriate resourceScan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed.Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.Track materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned.Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.Answer questions about records and files.Routine clerical matters, including ensuring that documents flow in a coordinated and efficient manner; and answering telephones.Don't miss this great opportunity...APPLY TODAY!
