Claims Examiner

We are currently searching for an experienced Claims Examiner in Phoenix, AZ.
Our client is an A+ rated E&S carrier serving niche insurance markets & shouldering the risks, so their clients have the security to create, explore, grow and prosper.
Highlights of this role: You will handle a very manageable caseload of high-severity/low frequency claims. You will work in an entrepreneurial environment and be expected to have an "Ownership Mentality" giving you a lot of authority to make business decisions as you see fit. Claims Examiner will be responsible for conducting proactive investigation, risk transfer, claim handling, attorney management, and claims resolutions. You will work closely with Defense Counsel on developing appropriate litigation strategy and be very involved in deep and thorough claims investigations. What we are looking for: Bachelor's Degree required 2-5 years of experience handling complex Commercial General Liability, Excess and other Casualty Claims Exceptional writing and communication skills allowing you to work effectively with insureds, claimants, underwriters, and upper management.
