Civil Engineer – Site and Stormwater Design – Base Salary to 100k/year – Harrisburg, PA

They are a small team that has been around over 50 years, and put a strong focus on community spaces for public recreation, creating unique and cost-effective solutions that cater to each client's needs.
In this role, the Civil Engineer will be responsible for site design, particularly stormwater design and land development. Experience in land development plans, site grading, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure design and permitting in the Harrisburg metro area is critical to success in this position. This position offers a hybrid schedule out of the Harrisburg office.
Responsibilities:
Incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into stormwater and land development design concepts to enhance the overall ecological impact of the projects.
Conduct site assessments, analyze site conditions, and gather relevant data to inform the design process.
Utilize industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Hydraflow, and HydraCAD to create visual representations of design proposals.
Keep up to date with the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in landscape architecture and park design.
Generate design proposals in stormwater and land development scopes.
Work closely with Architects, PMs, and clients to ensure designs are suitable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
3+ years experience in stormwater and land development and design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydraflow Hydrographs and Storm Sewers, HydroCAD, and MS Office
EIT or PE preferred
Possess 3+ years of hands-on experience in landscape design
Compensation:
Base salary in the 75k – 100k/year range
