WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you'll lead the charge in developing and implementing technology strategies for our group and its wholly owned portfolio companies. Your primary focus will revolve around enhancing systems integration, ensuring efficiency, fortifying security measures, and harnessing automation and AI to drive optimization, significantly reducing the need for extensive hiring during our growth phases.
You'll take ownership of crafting the overarching IT strategy for our largest operating company. Your responsibilities will extend to managing intricate interactions with multiple external partners, vendors, and service providers, supporting a workforce of 150 FT/PT staff members. Despite external resources such as a professional services help desk and various systems vendors, your approach will be hands-on. From overseeing on-site home and office network hardware installations and security protocols to orchestrating the implementation of ERP/MRP/ATS systems within our Consumer Packaged Goods environment, you'll be intricately involved in these vital technological deployments.
Moreover, beyond the technical realm, your role extends to project management, guiding various technology projects across departments, managing relationships with diverse firms, and providing comprehensive executive-level reporting on technology strategies and their impacts. Facilitating staff enablement through education on IT processes, organizing data effectively, streamlining systems processes, and leveraging AI to optimize operations and diminish the necessity for extensive hiring will be key facets of your role. Lastly, your goal will be to simplify IT, making systems user-friendly and seamlessly integrated into daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a technology vision and strategy that aligns with the overall business goals.
Stay abreast of new trends and technologies and assess their potential impact on the company.
Ensure the reliability and scalability of IT infrastructure and operations.
Oversee the management of technology resources and budget.
Develop objectives and strategies for the implementation of innovative solutions while optimizing existing systems, applications, and information
Identifying, comparing, selecting, and implementing technology solutions and partnerships to meet current and future needs
Develop and enforce policies and procedures for IT security, risk management, and data privacy.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Work closely with other C-level executives and business units to integrate technology with business strategies.
Communicate technology strategy to partners, management, staff, and stakeholders.
Oversee multiple technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners.
Adapt technology strategies in response to changing business needs and technological advancements.
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
8 + years of experience, and at least 3+ years of proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
5+ Years experience developing and implementing a strategic technology vision
aligned with the company's business goals.
5+ year experience working for a visionary entrepreneur driven company and understanding how to hire within it, demonstrated success with minimum 2 years on founder interactions
Project management skills, Gantt charts, pert, timelines, official project management and project portfolio management experience.
Master juggler of all tasks, can provide specific details, strong track record of organizing complicated projects within tight timelines, stores things in organized fashion, communicates in clear and concise fashion, able to communicate complex topics to executives in a simplified manner
Proven expertise in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) , ERP(NetSuite), and other business systems
Previous leadership experience within the technology field
Demonstrated success in developing robust technology strategies
Proven experience in managing and scaling technology infrastructure to support business operations.
Aptitude for managing technology budgets and resources effectively.
Proficiency in managing complex technology projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
A track record of innovation and adaptability to emerging technologies and market changes.
Strong leadership skills to build, guide, and inspire the technology team.
Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors and partners
