We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology direction and strategy, ensuring alignment with our overarching business goals. This role is crucial in shaping our future in technological advancements and requires a dedicated leader capable of bridging the gap between technology and our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic advice to the executive leadership on technology-driven solutions and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Budget Management: Guide the executive leadership in managing technology-related budgets effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Technology Strategy Development: Formulate long-term technology strategies that bolster our business operations and drive innovation.
Collaboration and Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between IT operations, software development teams, and business units to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
Executive Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for the executive team on all technology matters, ensuring decisions align with strategic objectives.
Solution Development: Assist various business areas in identifying and defining business cases, and lead the development of solutions tailored to these needs.
Vendor Relations: Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy for vendor engagement and management, optimizing relationships and value from partnerships.
User Experience Enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance user experience and increase overall satisfaction with our technology solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience managing all aspects (planning, organizing, budgeting, etc.) of large-scale data management or modernization projects.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders involved in data management and project development to advance organizational goals.
Solid understanding and experience with IT and data security standards, particularly those related to the protection of sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with or for governmental bodies on data and IT-related projects is highly advantageous.
