Responsibilities
• Efficient and effective running of the kitchen and food production outlets.• Advise Executive Chef on kitchen matters and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.• Manage culinary, servers, and stewarding staff.• Direct and evaluate restaurant unit.• Interview, hire, and train employees.• Plan, assign, and direct work.• Appraise performance.• Address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements
• AAS in Culinary Arts or equivalent.• Previous culinary experience preferred.• Strong organizational, management, culinary, communication, and motivational skills.• Proficient in food and beverage/hospitality industry control procedures.• Knowledge of regional cuisine and production methods.• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and taste/smell.• Servesafe Sanitation; ACF Certified preferred.
