JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Cardiovascular Surgical Tech CVOR TECH Full-Time Cardiovascular Surgical Tech candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

The CVOR Technologist, in collaboration with the surgical team and under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, assumes responsibility for the care and safety of the perioperative patient, instrumentation, supplies, and equipment during surgical and other invasive and non-invasive procedures.
The Surgical Technologist ensures effective communication with the circulator, the surgeon, the patient and their family, as well as the other members of the surgical team.
Set up and manage instruments, equipment, and supplies for all surgical procedures
Be responsible for maintaining a sterile field while passing instrumentation during an invasive procedure
Perform appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed
Assist in patient positioning, transporting, and obtaining needed equipment
Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
Assist in prepping room for the next patient
JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Cardiovascular Surgical Technician CVOR TECH Full-Time Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
Minimum Education: Two-year degree in surgical technology. Preferred Education: Not specified Specialization/Certification: Certified as a CST in SC Work Experience: Zero to less than 1 year of related work experience $23-34.56/hour
