Full job description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electric Vehicle (EV) Cable Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of cables and wiring harnesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, examplify excitment about growth within the electronic world, a meticulous approach to work, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of cable harness technicians in the assembly and production process. Cut, strip, and terminate cables and connectors with precision and accuracy. Assist in inventory management by tracking cable stock levels and communicating supply needs to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any cable-related issues that arise during assembly. Plan and prioritize workload to meet production schedules and deadlines. Ensure that all cable harnesses meet quality standards and specifications. Train new team members on assembly techniques and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred. Proven experience working with electrical wiring, cables, and connectors, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Strong understanding of electrical principles and safety practices. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprint drawings and schematics. Familiarity with basic hand and power tools used in cable preparation and assembly. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Preferred Skills:
Experience in EV cable assembly Note: This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
