Job Title: Cabana HostJob Summary:We are seeking a friendly and attentive Cabana Host to provide exceptional service to guests at our poolside cabanas. The Cabana Host will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience while enjoying the amenities of our cabanas. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.Responsibilities:Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the pool area and escort them to their reserved cabanas.Provide personalized service to cabana guests, including assisting with seating arrangements, adjusting umbrella angles, and adjusting temperature controls as needed.Take food and beverage orders from cabana guests and enter them accurately into the point-of-sale system.Serve food and beverages to cabana guests promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy and quality.Monitor cabana areas for cleanliness and tidiness, clearing away used dishes, glasses, and trash as needed.Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, such as providing extra towels, sunscreen, or refreshments.Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including food and beverage offerings, as well as any specials or promotions.Communicate effectively with other staff members, including servers, bartenders, and pool attendants, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and colleagues.Upsell additional amenities, such as spa services or poolside activities, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.Assist with setup and breakdown of cabana areas before and after operating hours.Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, adhering to uniform and grooming standards.Must be 18 years of age or older.Requirements:Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, preferably in a pool or beach club environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.For all team members:Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) after 6 months of service.100% match at 3% contributions, 50% up to 5%.Paid Time Off – Sick & VacationHoliday PayGrowth and development opportunities with us as a company, potentially at the same property or transferring to another one of our properties.
