Position SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Associate Vice President – Enrollment, in conjunction with the Senior Director of Enrollment Management, Registrar, and Enrollment Management Business Analyst, the Business Systems Analyst will support a comprehensive enrollment management operation and aid in the technical analysis, troubleshooting, and operational support of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (student) system in use by students, staff, and student employees at San Diego State University. The analyst will also assist in supporting integrations between the Student Information System and other enterprise systems, including the uAchieve degree audit system, Slate CRM and the OnBase imaging/workflow system.Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of enhancements to complex projects and support continuous process improvements. Aid in providing consultation and facilitating the analysis and definition of system operations, business rules, and user requirements, and Work cross-functionally to solve problems, improve interfaces, and implement changes.Assist with the coordination and monitoring of operational processes, query optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions SIS configuration. This is a full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, permanent/probationary position. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and is eligible for overtime compensation. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or business, or equivalent training and applied experience.
