Business Development Manager

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 + commission

This exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual seeking to elevate their sales career in strategic Business Development. If you're a seasoned business development executive with a drive for success, we want to connect with you.

You will be working in our US team managing a multimillion-dollar book of business and actively seeking new business to help grow your client portfolio across our two flagship channels Professional Buyer and RIA. You will be confidently pitching your innovative ideas to clients and build strong relationships with agencies, new and existing clients, and internal stakeholders.

As a valued member of our close-knit team, you'll collaborate on our renowned product, delving into the intricacies of advertising, sales, and financial services. Moreover, this role offers the exciting prospect of nationwide travel, enabling you to forge connections at events and engage directly with our valued clients across the US.

What you'll be doing:
-Presenting Citywire's brand and digital proposition via email, telephone, and in face-to-face meetings to existing clients and new commercial partners.
-Managing our digital advertising, bespoke format events and content creation revenues and proactively seeking new business to help grow your client portfolio across our two US channels Citywire Professional Buyer and Citywire RIA.
-Working alongside a very supportive team to develop an in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry whilst closely monitoring advertising campaigns and content projects.

What we're looking for:
- Proven sales or business development experience.
- You are a consultative problem solver and able to listen to a client and match our products and services to their needs. Sometimes these solutions will be complex and multifaceted.
-Relationship building will be second nature to you, and you'll enjoy meeting people and influencing their behavior.
-You are confident pitching new ideas to internal stakeholders and/or clients.
-Work to maintain and grow revenue by looking for innovative ways to support campaigns and proactively identifying and contacting any relevant players in the market.
-Superb organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
-Knowledge of the asset management industry, extremely helpful, although not required.
