Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Department: Logistics
Salary : $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Benefits: Extensive health insurance benefits 3 weeks PTO in first year, and 4 weeks on first anniversary, Bi-annual performance reviews with merit increase potential, 401K and profit sharing Education reimbursement Purpose & Summary: As the Logistics Brokerage Coordinator, you will be responsible for arranging third party inbound and outbound freight, and fostering relationships with shippers and carriers. As the go-to resource for coordinating third-party logistics, your role will be pivotal in maintaining seamless communication between team members and customers throughout the transportation process. Your expertise guarantees timely pickups and deliveries, all while optimizing costs for efficient solutions. Day-to-day tasks and responsibilities may include:
Coordinating transportation Negotiating freight rates Data entry & tracking of inbound and outbound material Providing excellent customer service Requirements & Qualifications: We require a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as one year of relevant experience. Ideal candidates will be familiar with warehouse processes and the trucking industry. Additional qualifications include:
Experience as a freight broker Knowledge of the transportation industry Fluent in the Microsoft Office Suite Excellent computer skills Strong organizational skills Quick problem-solving skills Exceptional customer service skills Critical thinker with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision Outstanding candidates may also possess these preferred qualifications:
