About the Role:
As our Bookkeeper, you will ensure the accuracy of our financial records, streamline our accounting processes, and contribute to our financial efficiency. Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Maintain precise financial records, prepare financial reports, and manage accounts payable.
Data Entry: Enter all transactions into QuickBooks Desktop, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Payment Processing: Handle weekly reimbursements, check runs, and payroll journals efficiently.
Record Keeping: Organize and maintain all accounting files to ensure easy accessibility and compliance.
Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and prepare comprehensive weekly financial reports for management review.
Tax Preparation: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with financial legal requirements.
Expense Management: Monitor and analyze business expenses and revenues, seeking opportunities to optimize costs and enhance revenue.
Vendor Relations: Manage all vendor accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies to maintain strong professional relationships.
Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in bookkeeping, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and experience with Paycom.
Professional Skills: Exceptional organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail. Ability to maintain high accuracy levels crucial for a finance role.
