This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper with excellent communication and administration skills. We are looking for a detail-oriented, team player with excellent AR and AP experience to provide outstanding support on all accounting operations. Paid vacation Duties and Responsibilities for our Bookkeeper / Administrator: Support all accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running software programs. Support all accounting functional areas including but not limited to Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash, Inventory, and General Ledger. Receive, verify and assist with processing invoices. Assist with research of vendor issues relating to payments or invoices. Maintain a thorough record of all business transactions. Assist senior accounting personnel with any tasks conducted within the accounting department. Provide general office administration Assist with sales orders and dispatch admin when required General customer services when required Experience and Skills required for our Bookkeeper / Administrator: Previous bookkeeping experience in a similar role, ideally working in a small/medium size business Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, cash, inventory, and general ledger. Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with working with financial software Experience of Oracle or using any ERP system is an advantage High levels of accuracy and ability to meet strict deadlines. Possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting practices and procedures and the willingness and ability to comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as the regulations established by the company itself. The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information. Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing. Strong people skills – polite and professional conduct when working with other companies, as well as consumers and co-workers. Hands on approach and willing to take on additional tasks Education in a related discipline is an asset although not required.
