Full job description Sandberg Phoenix Benefits/HRIS/Employee Resources Manager Sandberg Phoenix is recruiting for a Benefits/HRIS/Employee Resources Manager to join our HR Department. Sandberg Phoenix is a team of 170 attorneys with 300+ employees practicing in Missouri, Illinois and Florida. This position champions the firm's benefits and wellness initiatives, administers benefits and rewards programs, provides employee resources and engages in employee feedback and engagement initiatives through managing the firm's HRIS systems. This position reports to the Chief Human Resources & Operations Strategist.

What you'll do: Duties and Responsibilities – Benefits and HRIS Administration Responsible administration of the firm's group benefits to include health, dental, vision, life, FSA, HSA and ancillary benefits. Being the go-to person for handling employee benefits inquiries and liaison to the firm's benefit providers. Manage benefit open enrollment meetings, assist in developing presentation materials, and ensure that all employee health and welfare enrollment elections are processed accurately. Co-Chairs the firm's Wellness Committee; develops wellness programs and hosts events in providing health and safety resources to our employees. Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package and rewards program. Manage the benefits and rewards portals in HRIS program to include open enrollment and life event program design, rate structures and updating of employee records Serve on the benefits task force in providing feedback and creative thinking to benefits and rewards programs. Ensures benefit policies are current and in compliance with legislative requirements at the Federal and State Levels. Evaluates existing benefits and proposes new programs through information obtained by research, market trends and employee feedback. Consults and collaborates with leadership to identify benefit strategies that support business needs. Monitor current and expected cost, update internal spreadsheets for billing and ensure processes are in place for timely payments to external vendors. Responsible for the overall management of the firm's HRIS system to include developing dashboards, creating efficiencies in managing employee data, generating key reports and promoting and training employees on the benefits and efficiencies of the program. Prepare budgetary recommendations and assist in the monitoring, verifying, and reconciling of budgeted funds. Duties and Responsibilities - Employee Experience: Assist and create an environment to nurture the employee and employer relationship. Coordinate and manage the firm's onboarding process for all new employees with a schedule of follow-up communications and touch points. Responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's employee rewards program that acknowledges outstanding performance and work anniversaries. Creating new employee feedback surveys. You Should Have:
Intermediate experience in the design, administration, and communication of employee benefits plans. Solid working knowledge of various benefit plans (e.g., health, life and leave policies) Ability to deal tactfully with all levels of both internal employees and external providers. Expert ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely Knowledge of benefits contract language. Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements. Strong knowledge and experience with HRIS softwares to include UltiPro (UKG). Strong analytical and reporting skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and organization skills. Advanced organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite Products. Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field, and two+ years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience. Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems.
