Raines has maintained a family-oriented culture that believes in building relationships with our associates, with our partners and within the communities where we operate.Essential Job FunctionsServe food and drinks for guests using suggestive selling techniques.Have a thorough knowledge of menus and applicable specials.Ring drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests.Prepare garnishments for drinks.Be able to operate the hotel computer system, Micros.Perform opening and closing procedures along with side work as assigned.Follow proper procedure regarding cash handling, following cash bank reconciliation and end of shift drop.Maintain a clean barKnow and comply with food handling and liquor laws.Engage guests in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner.Perform all bar setup and restocking/replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.Adhere to hotel grooming standards.Assist food and beverage team as situations arise.Resolve guest complains and perform service recover when required (and escalate to immediate supervisor if needed)Perform any additional tasks requested by managementEducationHigh school education/GED.ExperiencePrevious experience as a bartender. On the job training is provided.Hours requiredScheduled days and time vary based on hotel needs 5-9pm (Tue-Thurs) 5-10pm (Fri-Sat).
