Barback - Casino Bar Location Mayetta, KS : $1250 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $60 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process. We pay out $400 of the bonus in the first week of employment. Additional $1 per hour for hours worked from 6 pm to 6 am! Prairie Band Casino & Resort offers an attractive benefits package including medical (casino pays over 70% of premiums), Dental (casino pays 79% of premiums), and Vision. Prairie Band also pays 100% of short-term and long-term disability and life insurance of $15,000 for all Team Members. There is a 50% employer match up to 6% on our 401(k), a profit-sharing bonus paid out multiple times a year when financial goals are met, double pay on holidays, 25¢ off per gallon of gas at our gas station, and a generous Paid Time Off policy where you can earn up to 18 days in your first year of employment! Ensures all beverage team members can function efficiently in the position by maintaining adequate inventory and stocking of bar and storage area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure Places replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure Places liquors, fruits, beverage supplies, paper supplies and sundries in their designated places following established storage guidelines and safety procedures Operates and maintains all equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures Fills ice bins Removes and properly disposes of all debris accumulated at the bar, well and beverage self-service kiosks in accordance with department procedures Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards Replaces empty draught beer kegs and other beverages for the bars, well, beverage self-service kiosks, and events center as requested Must project professionalism and a consistently friendly demeanor Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same Performs the duties of a Coffee Bar Attendant, Food Server, Beverage Server, Cashier/Host, Server Assistant or Bartender as needed to include Banquet functions Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: Required
High school diploma or GED Must be 21 years of age Basic mathematic proficiency Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English Excellent customer service/communication skills Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., pens, money, garnishes), bend, and stoop while carrying bar stock to and from supply areas Stand and walk for up to eight hours Able to work in constricting areas Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment Must be able to meet the level four or heavy work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly Indian Preference Exercised Prairie Band Casino & Resort reserves the right to make changes to the above s whenever necessary.
