We are growing and constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic team member to fill our position for Full-Time Baker at its Georgetown bakery cafe (1737 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20007).
This is an entry-level position. You will receive all necessary training to succeed.
Shifts 4AM – 12PM (You will bake from 4AM-7AM, then you will be a barista from 7AM-12PM)7-8 Hour shift 5 Days a week including Saturday and Sunday As a Baker you will be: Living by Fresh Baguette's core values: Integrity, Respect, Reliable, Team player, Committed, and Customer Oriented Providing friendly and prompt customer service Cash and credit handling at the cash register in a fun and efficient manner Offering product recommendations Baking all types of breads and baked goods Preparing products for the next day baking Organizing the freezer and fridge Packing away all delivery items Setting up the bread display Cleaning the baking station Maintaining store safety, sanitation and proper food storage Making and serving baked goods, sandwiches, salads, breads, and pastries with care Paying close attention to the way products are displayed throughout the day and to the cleanliness of the store Creating long-term relationships with customers Requirements Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Open Availability including weekends Availability to work Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc. Strong Communication skills Reliable transportation to work--living within walking distance and/or not dependent on public transportation Commute of less than 25 minutes Ability to stand for 8 hours Experience working at a café or bakery You would be a great fit as a baker if you: Have a passion for coffee and bread Have a warm and inviting presence Love learning and challenging yourself Consider yourself a people person Thrive in a fast-paced environment Seek growth opportunities Be nefits Compensation: Competitive pay – 21.00$ / hour to 22.00$ / hour including tips Base pay starts at 12.00$ / hour with room for growth Paid Training No late nights 401K and 401K Matching Free Lunch Paid Time off after 90 days Health Insurance Dental Insurance Employee Discount Anniversary Gift Card Exciting growth potential Job Types: Full-time
