We are now hiring for a full-time Automotive Technician in Alexander, AR. This person will be responsible for providing timely, quality and cost-effective repairs and maintenance for our customers. Workload will vary amongst customers with a range of small to medium duty cars and trucks. We service 20+ small fleets of delivery and utility trucks.  Your own tools are required for this position. Compensation & Benefits $30-35 per hour, depending on experience Health insurance with employer contribution Paid holidays Paid time off 401(k) Schedule 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday (no weekends!) Responsibilities Conduct preventive maintenance with engine/transmissions, tires, belts, hoses, brakes, rotors, oil changes, etc. and diagnose and complete larger repairs as necessary Perform minor to major mechanical and body repairs on trucks Diagnose and troubleshoot A/C and HVAC systems in vehicles Repair and troubleshoot electrical problems, including with VEDR cameras and other equipment Collaborate with management to maintain parts inventory, and communicate needs to appropriate personnel Maintain accurate records of repairs performed on all vehicles Complete other assigned duties as required Qualifications 8+ years of experience performing preventative, minor and major maintenance on medium to large trucks necessary Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with manual and automatic transmission High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working with DEF systems is a plus Must be able to pass a Drug Test and background check (Paid by Employer) Must be able to work independently and perform work during flexible hours Must not have any felonies / violent misdemeanors or drug related misdemeanors in the last 10 years
