Positions, installs, and assembles parts and subassemblies by using templates and reading/following work instructions. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components, and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units. Utilizes small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters of various types, and other standard wiring and assembly tools. Work Experience Qualifications and requirements:
Must be willing to train on day shift until July, then work on 2nd shift , you will receive 2nd shift pay rate while training. Basic computer skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have ability to read and comprehend blueprints, work instructions, and other technical data. Must possess good interpersonal skills with strong desire to work in a teamwork environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors. Must be willing to work overtime (as requested). High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
