As an Automation Informatics Consultant (AIC/LIS), you will play a pivotal role in providing dedicated on-site support for Siemens automation and middleware solutions to one specific MegaLab customer account. Your responsibilities will include system configuration, pre-installation, installation, training, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support of Siemens Healthineers middleware and automation products. You'll be an integral part of ensuring smooth operations, supporting multiple shifts including on-call rotations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with on-site Siemens Healthineers management and employees across different shifts.
Provide on-site support for system configuration, installation, and training of customer lab personnel.
Interact directly with customers including Laboratory Managers, Supervisors, IT Administrators, and external Laboratory Information System vendors.
Assist in meeting business objectives and addressing customer-specific workflow decisions.
Perform implementation activities, software upgrades, and acceptance testing.
Participate in meetings/conference calls and follow Siemens quality/regulatory policies.
Independently troubleshoot and resolve software malfunctions, seeking guidance when necessary.
Develop a technical support network within Siemens to achieve results.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computing, Information Technology, or Engineering.
Proficiency in healthcare IT, security, and data privacy.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software including Windows OS, networking concepts, and application architecture.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, or Healthcare IT Technician.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and business skills like project management and financial analysis.
Laboratory experience and training within a healthcare environment.
