Responsibilities Assistant Director of Clinical Assessment Center PIW is committed to improving the behavioral health care within our community by going beyond the traditional.  We will continue to develop diverse and dynamic treatment programs and establish partnerships with others to understand and serve people where they live.  Together we will build upon our strengths and human spirit to create a different future.
BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting in managing and supervising the Clinical Assessment Center and the coordination of this service with other hospital departments, in providing service to patients.  Primary responsibilities include supervision of Clinical Assessment Center staff, monitoring and directing inquiry calls, organizing tasks related to the operation of the Clinical Assessment Center, and compiling and reporting statistical information.  Abide by the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Plan at all times and in all areas.
Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current licensure in the mental health field with minimum of five (5) years psychiatric assessment experience. Two years supervisory experience.  OR a Bachelor's degree in the mental health field with a minimum of ten (10) years experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and two years supervising psychiatric assessment staff.
Demonstrates ability to engage in a therapeutic relationship by maintaining appropriate boundaries and effective limits.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
Ability to work in high stress work environment and maintain high energy level to attend to varied tasks.
