Title: Associate I PayrollLocation: St. Paul, MNDuration: 1+ Month AssignmentPosition Summary:We are recruiting for a Payroll Clerk to join our team in the Lillehei location in St. Paul, MN. You will be responsible for entering and validating payroll information, creating and maintaining payroll files and time record batches, researching and resolving timecard questions, and participating in special projects.Primary Responsibilities:Provide customer service by helping employees and managers with questions via email and phoneCreate new hire foldersFile paperwork into employee filesDistribute checks and reports to divisional contactsWork with HR Representatives to resolve employee issuesParticipate in special projectsResearch and resolve employee related questions/issuesComply with company policies as well and state/ federal, DOL & SOX regulationsRequired Qualifications:1+ year of general business experience in customer service, call center, and/or in a help desk environmentBeginning level proficiency with Excel (perform basic formulas)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customersPreferred Qualifications:Associate's degree in accounting, Business, or related field disciplinePrevious payroll experienceAbbott is a global healthcare leader that helps people live more fully at all stages of life.
