We are honored to be an Equal Opportunity Employer GOBHI has an immediate opening for a full-time Children's Autism Intervention Assistant to work with our clients in our Baker City, Oregon clinic.
No licensure or certification required! Training is provided in house. The Autism Intervention Assistant provides one on one or small group interventions and treatment to children experiencing autism, in a clinic setting and at times in the community. Under the direction and supervision of the Behavior Analyst implement and execute positive behavior support treatment plans. All therapy modalities and treatment plans are designed with and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Essential duties include: Provide 1:1 treatment with children from 2 to 18 years of age in the clinic, and/or community. Demonstrate the ability to playfully and spontaneously interact with children within a positive teaching context. Implement individualized positive behavior support treatment plans. Model implementation for parent and/or primary caregiver. Ensure that all treatment is implemented as written and directed by the Behavior Analyst. Prepare and submit all required medical billing-record documentation daily Into the Electronic Health Record. Collect and input program data into the digital data collection system. Assist the Behavior Analyst in conducting assessments. Work schedule may include evening and weekend work. Able to drive to treatment settings or other GOBHI locations in all season weather as needed. Participate in team meetings and complete trainings as required. Prepare educational materials for sessions. Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making skills. Demonstrate time management ability to effectively manage a small caseload. Communicates with other team members in a respectful, collaborative approach, and creates a supportive and welcoming environment. Conduct all duties of the job with professionalism and integrity. Ability to work with children with limited safety awareness, who move quickly from the floor to their feet, and may become physically aggressive or self-injurious. Other duties as assigned. *For a complete job description please email * Requirements: What is needed to succeed in this role: Experience – at least one year' experience working with children 2 to 18 years of age; Communication skills – Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written; Technology Savvy – comfortable using Microsoft Office software or Google Suites; Positive attitude – ability to approach problems in a positive manner; Problem solving skills – ability to work independently as well as in a team setting; Demonstrate ability to work independently; Maintain a good driving record and vehicle insurance; Complete COVID vaccination required; Education – High School diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain; Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain; Bilingual – Spanish speaking preferred.
