Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
•Interact with and provide Trips of a Lifetime to all guests and visitors of the resort.
•Be an active team member assisting with daily golf operations including:
oGuest check-in.
oStarting Play.
oPace of Play.
oMerchandise management and sales.
oCash and credit card handling.
oDaily reporting.
•Be fully knowledgeable of golf shop merchandise – features and benefits.
•Maintain clean, presentable and fully stocked merchandise displays.
•Assist organizing and implementing tournaments, group outings and special events.
•Assist Director of Instruction with links clinics, instruction and Junior Golf Programs.
•Ensure accurate tracking of types and quanity of golf rounds, monitor guest preferences, usage patterns and satisifaction with Company products and services.
•Other golf resort duties as required.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree preferred.
PGM associate or better preferred.
Demonstrated experience and capability in customer service, retail sales and customer satisfaction.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Flexibility to work days/nights/weekends.
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
Compensation:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
