The Asset Serv Intmd Assoc Analyst is a developing professional role which integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices; demonstrates good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.Responsibilities:This will be an individual contributor role reconciling, processing elections and payments related to Corporate Action eventsInterpret domestic Voluntary Corporate Action and event information, and use that data to address client inquiries and ad-hoc requestsPartner with internal teams across the business, including Middle office, to effectively service Custody clientsPerforms multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operating efficiency and a high level of productivityMinimizes risk to the bank through the appropriate application of procedural requirements and adherence to audit and control policiesContinuously looks for and designs business required documents to reduce the number of manual touch points to process paymentsParticipates in system testingMaintains awareness of product changes and system enhancementsAssists team member during periods of high volume corporate action processing and payments, provides back-up coverage, and performs other duties as assigned by supervisorAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:2-5 years relevant experienceRelated industry experienceOperational knowledge within Finance industryExperience in other financial products outside of asset service will be advantageousProven experience working within a team environment a mustExcel, Word, Outlook, AccessAnalytical and numerate, ability to research and resolve complex issuesGood written and verbal communication skillsGood lateral thinking & common senseEducation:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Operations - Transaction Services------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Asset Servicing------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Jersey City New Jersey United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$78,320.00 - $109,280.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
