What you will be doing: You will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and operation of our IBM AS400.

In your day-to-day you will be responsible for:

Follow Fresche methodology for all projects keeping in mind industry standards and best practices when working on all projects.
Set up and configure the AS400 system, including both hardware and software components.
Apply system updates, patches, and perform upgrades to ensure the AS400 is running on supported and secure versions.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and tune parameters for optimal performance.
Implement and manage backup procedures, perform regular backups, test recovery procedures, and manage off-site backup media storage.
What you must have: 10+ years with a proven track record of IBM i (iSeries, AS/400)
A good understanding of Job Scheduling, automation and troubleshooting
Handling user management (creating, managing, deleting, etc.)
Effective communication with all levels of employees and management
Eligibility to work in the US (Flexible Location, PST Time Zone Alignment Required).
